"When I started working on the Latin American ÖMSESIDIG collection, I explored the diversity of celebrations in Mexico. It was fascinating to discover how this sense of community so clearly contributes to strengthening our democracy and national identity. A great example is Guelaguetza – an annual cultural festival in Oaxaca that I chose as the starting point and inspiration for my design. Maybe we can learn something from how they embrace celebration in their everyday life?”
