IKEA Canary and Balearic Islands will lower the prices of a selection of products as part of IKEA’s European commitment to affordability.

Numerous products across various areas of the home will see price reductions, including items from popular series such as KALLAX, IKEA 365+, ALEX, and LASTARE, as part of a much broader selection. The initiative is part of a joint effort by Inter IKEA Group and IKEA franchisees in Europe, representing an approximate investment of €1.2 billion to offer lower prices to customers.

IKEA will reinforce its commitment to affordability in the Canary and Balearic Islands with new price reductions across a wide selection of products, as part of the ongoing effort IKEA is undertaking in Europe to make home solutions more affordable for more people.

The initiative is part of a joint action in Europe. Inter IKEA Group is lowering its wholesale prices for IKEA franchisees, while IKEA franchise groups in the region are making additional investments to pass these savings on to customers through lower prices. Together, these measures represent an approximate investment of €1.2 billion aimed at reducing prices for IKEA customers in Europe.

In the Canary and Balearic Islands, Sarton Group, the IKEA franchisee for these archipelagos, is participating in this effort with new price reductions, strengthening the company's commitment to providing an accessible and relevant home proposition for the majority of people.

This commitment to affordability is especially relevant in the Canary and Balearic Islands, where housing costs are exerting growing pressure on household finances. In the Canary Islands, the cost of accessing and maintaining a home is rising rapidly, while in the Balearic Islands, prices have reached levels that make access to housing particularly challenging for many local households. In this context, maintaining low prices on home products and solutions becomes even more essential for IKEA.

Numerous products and different home areas

Among the numerous products seeing price reductions in the Canary and Balearic Islands are items from well-known series such as KALLAX, IKEA 365+, ALEX, and LASTARE, as well as iconic products from the IKEA range like the STRANDMON grey wing chair, the KIVIK 3-seater sofa, and the BRIMNES 2-door wardrobe, among many others. These are just a few examples of a much broader selection of items that will see reduced prices.

The price cuts will cover various areas and household needs, from storage and organisation solutions to living room, bedroom, kitchen furniture, and everyday essentials.
