Plastic, paper and glass, every year we throw away almost 500Kg of waste per person. Much of this waste can be recycled. But how do you separate your waste, without your house being full of different garbage bags? With the following tips, separating your waste at home becomes a pice of cake.

Separating waste at home

Recycling doesn't have to be difficult. With a few small adjustments you can easily separate your waste. For starters, it's good to have a system.

For example, use a different bin for each type of waste. Those bins don't have to be big. With the HÅLLBAR series you can set up your kitchen cabinet with different sizes of waste sorting bins.

Recycling starts at home

Even if you don't have room for separate bins, recycling isn't difficult.

For example, choose to store your paper or glassware in a recycling bag. This allows you to collect dry waste in one place without taking up too much space. Has the bag become dirty? No problem you can easily rinse the bag and you can immediately use it again.

Another tip is to make your waste as small as possible: fold boxes together and make plastic packaging small. This way, more waste fits in a container or waste bag.
