Serves 4 60 mins.
Ingredients
- 8 pcs KORVMOJ vegetable hot dogs
- 4 pcs BRÖD TUNNBRÖD soft thin bread
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 red onion
- 1 tbsp chili flakes
- ROSTAD LÖK fried onion
Brine:
- 50 ml strong white vinegar
- 100 ml sugar
- 150 ml water
Salsa:
- 100 ml chopped parsley
- 50 ml chopped dill
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 lemon, juice and grated peel
- 100 ml mild olive oil
Step by step
- Mix the ingredients for the brine in a bowl and stir until the sugar resolves.
- Peel and slice the red onion thinly and put it in the brine. Let it marinate for at least one hour. Leaving it in the fridge overnight is great as well.
- Put the salsa ingredients in a bowl and mix it with a hand mixer.
- Prepare the vegetable hot dogs according to instructions on the package.
- Put one avocado half on each thin bread and mash it with a fork. Place the vegetable hot dogs on top of the avocado and add pickled red onion, herb salsa and chili flakes.
- Fold up the lower corners of the thin breads and wrap.
