Water-conscious commitment in bathrooms
Every time you brush your teeth or wash your hands, you can help save water. A small aerator in every one of our bathroom faucets reduces water flow while maintaining pressure.
What is ABS plastic?
ABS plastic is a strong and stable material with a glossy surface – making it perfect for especially used everyday objects like cutlery drawers, kitchen utensils, toothbrush mugs and bathroom hooks. ABS is made from oil-based, non-renewable raw materials, but development is progressing and we are using more and more recycled ABS. It is an important step towards our goal of only using plastic that is recycled or from renewable sources.
Designer Mikael Axelsson
“When designing SALJEN wash-basin mixer tap, we used the same high-quality, water- and energy-saving internal components as the rest of our tap range but worked with a plastic body to reduce costs. The challenge with plastic though, is the noticeable line created when two halves of the mold come together. I decided to integrate this line into the design, making it a sleek and attractive feature. The result? An expressive, high-quality tap at an unbeatable price!”
