Can a plastic bag be sustainable?
Tricky question – but allow us to explain what we’ve done to make FRAKTA as sustainable as possible. More than 90% of the bag is made from recycled material, of which at least 70% is plastic with a previous life in the food or plastic industry, like jumbo bags for milk powder or food containers. We added a small percentage of pigment and virgin material to give the bag its iconic blue colour and to ensure its durability and that it enjoys a long life, carrying up to 25 kg.
A timeless classic that makes everyday life easier
Since its debut in the 1990s, this versatile classic has been used in all kinds of ways around the world. Everything from luxury fashion brands to DIY enthusiasts have been inspired by the simplicity, flexibility and durability of the design. And there is no need to doubt the quality of the bag. It has undergone rigorous testing to ensure that it can withstand a load of 55 pounds – day in and day out.

How to organize recycling at home
Plastic, paper, and glass three common materials that often end up in our trash bins, contributing to the staggering 500 kilos of waste per person annually. The good news is, much of this waste is recyclable, offering a chance to reduce our environmental footprint.
