The entity SARTON CANARIAS S.A. organizes the promotional giveaway included in the catalogue “Make space for what you love”, addressed to clients and users of IKEA Canary and Balearic Islands. Participation in the giveaway will be linked to completing a survey and will be free, without the need to make any purchase or the existence of any extra price, additional charging, or any other cost for the participating person. The dissemination of the giveaway will be performed through different IKEA’s communication channels, under the following conditions:

The giveaway will be communicated on the printed and digital versions of the IKEA catalogue “Make space for what you love”, as well as on the webpage, on newsletters, social media and other communication channels own by IKEA.
PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY:
To enter the giveaway, participants must fill out the survey and the form placed on the webpage www.islas.ikea.es, which they can access by scanning the QR that will accompany the communication included in the catalogue, both in its printed and digital versions.
Each person can participate only once in the giveaway. Should a single person register more than once, only one of said participations will be valid.

PRIZE:
The prize consists of one (1) purchase voucher valued in three hundred euros (300€). Besides, if the winner is part of the IKEA Family club, a €50 increment will be added to the value of the gift voucher, resulting in a purchase voucher valued in three hundred and fifty euros (350€). The voucher will be valid until the 30th of November 2026, to use at the IKEA Canary and Balearic Islands Stores or Points.
The applicable tax treatment when the check amount reaches €350 is specifically regulated in the following section.
TAX TREATMENT OF THE 350-EURO PRIZE FOR WINNERS OF IKEA FAMILY:
The prize subject to this giveaway, consisting of a purchase voucher valued in three hundred and fifty euros (350€), shall be considered a capital gain for the beneficiary for Personal Income Tax (IRPF) purposes, in accordance with Article 33.1 of Spanish Law 35/2006 of 28 November on Personal Income Tax.
As this is a prize in kind with a value exceeding 300€, the provisions of Articles 75.2.c), 75.3.f) and 105.1 of the Personal Income Tax Regulations (Royal Decree 439/2007) shall apply. These provisions require SARTON CANARIAS SA to make the corresponding payment on account of Personal Income Tax, calculated at the applicable rate of 19% on the market value of the prize, increased by 20%.
SARTON CANARIAS SA shall bear the full amount of such payment on account from its own assets, so that the winner shall receive the shopping voucher at its nominal value of €350, without any reduction as a result of this tax obligation.
Notwithstanding the above, the winner is hereby informed that:
a) SARTON CANARIAS SA shall issue and send the winner the corresponding certificate evidencing the payment on account made, for all relevant purposes.
b) The winner shall comply with any tax obligations that may apply as a result of receiving the prize, including declaring it in their Personal Income Tax return, in accordance with the terms established under the applicable Personal Income Tax legislation.
c) SARTON CANARIAS SA shall declare the payment on account made to the Spanish Tax Agency through Forms 111 and 190.
This prize is excluded from the special tax regime applicable to lottery and betting prizes set out in the thirty-third Additional Provision of the Personal Income Tax Law, as it is not a giveaway organized by the State Society for Lotteries and Betting (Sociedad Estatal Loterías y Apuestas del Estado), regional bodies, the Spanish Red Cross or ONCE. Consequently, the general capital gains regime described above shall apply.
The purchase voucher is non-transferable and must be used by the clients in its totality at the IKEA Balearic and Canary Islands stores and points.
The purchase voucher amount cannot be used to compensate outstanding balance for purchases financed with credit cards, to pay for delivery or assembly services nor it will be exchangeable for another voucher or its value in cash.
The Organizers are not responsible for the loss, theft, deterioration, or misuse of the purchase voucher once it has been correctly delivered to the winner, except in cases where such circumstances are attributable to the Organizers or where it is legally appropriate to hold them liable.
The voucher will be delivered in physical format with a unique and non-transferable code. IKEA will not assume responsibility for any loss after its delivery.
Using the purchase voucher never generates new purchase vouchers.
TAXES:
The prizes object of the present giveaway shall be subject to the tax and fiscal regulations in force and applicable at the relevant time.
SARTON CANARIAS S.A. shall, where applicable, make any legally required withholdings and payments on account in respect of the value of the prize, in accordance with the applicable tax regulations. In particular, where the value of the prize exceeds the thresholds legally established for the application of a withholding or payment on account, the corresponding tax obligations shall apply.
In the case of a prize consisting of a purchase voucher, its tax treatment shall be determined according to its nature and the valuation rules established under the tax regulations in force.
SARTON CANARIAS S.A. shall provide the winner, where legally required, with the relevant tax certificate evidencing any withholding or payment on account made, for the purposes of complying with their tax obligations.
The winner shall be responsible for complying with any tax obligations that may arise as a result of receiving the prize, without prejudice to any withholding and payment-on-account obligations incumbent upon SARTON CANARIAS S.A. under the legislation in force.
SELECTION AND COMMUNICATION OF THE WINNERS:
Once the participation period has ended, a random giveaway will be held in the IKEA La Mareta offices (Gran Canaria), through the platform Random Picker (https://www.randompicker.com), among all the valid participations registered. One (1) winner and two (2) substitute winners will be designated in said giveaway, by order of extraction.
After performing the giveaway, the Organization will contact via telephone the winner using the data provided during their participation. Three attempts to contact them will be made in different days and time slots, during a maximum period of five (5) calendar days from the giveaway date. The prize will be understood as accepted when effective contact is made with the winner, and they confirm their acceptance.
In the event of not being able to contact the winner within the established deadline, if they renounced to the prize, fail to properly prove their identity, have provided incorrect or incomplete data that prevent the verification of their identity or contacting them, or fail to comply with any of the requirements established in these conditions, they shall lose the right to the prize, and the Organization shall proceed to contact the first substitute person, applying the same procedure.
Should multiple registrations from the same individual be detected, only one of them will be considerate valid and duplicated participations will be eliminated, in accordance with the limitation established in these conditions, of only one participation per person.
Once the prize is accepted, the winner can attend the corresponding IKEA Store, Order and Planification Point or Shop of their island of residence to pick it up on the date or within the period indicated by the Organization. For the prize delivery, they must credit their identity through the valid identification document and data must match the information provided in the registration form.
Should the winner be unable to attend in person to claim the prize, they can authorize a person to do it in their name, previously communicating it to the Organization and providing the requested documents to credit both the identity of the winner and the corresponding authorization.
If the prize is not collected within the established deadline, unless another method of collection has been previously communicated and agreed upon, the winner will be deemed to have waived the prize, proceeding to contact the first substitute, and subsequently the second substitute if necessary.
If in the end it is not possible to designate the price to any of the substitute winners, the prize will become null.
Workers from IKEA Spanish Islands or their direct relatives cannot participate in the present giveaway.

This promotion is ruled by current Spanish legislation and these terms and conditions. For any dispute that may arise from the interpretation, execution, or development of this promotion, the parties submit to current Spanish legislation and the competent courts and tribunals in accordance with applicable consumer and user protection regulations.
MODIFICATIONS AND/OR ANNEXES:
SARTON CANARIAS S.A. reserves the right to modify or add successive annexes about its mechanism and prizes, if they are justified or do not damage the participants, and they are communicated rightly.
In case any case of extreme gravity should obtain SARTON CANARIAS SA. can cancel the promotion, announcing it as well to the consumers.
USE OF THE NAME AND IMAGE OF THE WINNERS:
Participation in this promotion does not imply or constitute consent to the use of the participants’ image, voice or name for advertising, promotional or commercial purposes.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 2.2 of Organic Law 1/1982, of 5 May, on the Civil Protection of the Right to Honor, Personal and Family Privacy and Own Image, as well as Article 7 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), any use of the winner’s image or name shall require the prior obtaining of express, specific, informed, free and unequivocal consent.
Accordingly, only in the event that a participant is selected as a winner, SARTON CANARIAS S.A. may request, separately and independently from participation in the promotion, authorization to use, publish and reproduce their name and/or image in any type of advertising, promotion or publication, including on the Internet or through other media, provided that such actions are exclusively related to this promotion.
In particular, if SARTON CANARIAS S.A. intends to publish or disclose the identity of the winners, it must first obtain the winner’s express, specific and voluntary consent at the time of acceptance or delivery of the prize, through a procedure independent from the acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The provision of such consent shall be entirely voluntary. Refusal to grant such consent, or its subsequent withdrawal, shall in no event affect the winner’s status or their right to receive and enjoy the prize awarded.
Should the winner grant their consent, SARTON CANARIAS S.A. shall use their name and/or image solely for the purposes expressly authorized, for the period necessary to disseminate the promotion and within the geographical scope and through the media specifically indicated at the time such consent is obtained.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the authorized use of the winner’s name and/or image in connection with this promotion shall not give rise to any right to financial compensation.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRESENT CONDITIONS:
The very participation in the promotion, means the acceptance of the present terms and conditions. In case of existing doubts or discrepancies in the interpretation of said terms, they will be remitted to common law.
