Key features
You don’t have to worry about spills since the cover can be removed and machine washed.
Perfect for long dinners since the length and height of the armrests, the angle of the backrest and the extra thick seat make the chair comfortable to sit on.
The armrests are long enough to provide support when you lean back and short enough to allow you to sit as close to the table as you like when eating.
The chair can be pushed under the table so that it takes up less space when not in use.
The backrest has the same shape as the legs of INGATORP table and gives the modern chair a traditional touch.

"When I designed INGATORP chair I was inspired by Scandinavian tradition and adapted it to a modern lifestyle. For example, I shortened the armrests slightly so that they still provide support, but allow the chairs to be pushed a bit under the table and take up less space when not in use. The chair is also really comfortable with a thick, soft seat. I hope that it not only encourages long, enjoyable dinners, but that it’s also used in the living room."
Smart thinking behind the armrest
We designed INGATORP chair with slightly shorter armrests than usual – allowing the chair to be pulled close to the table so that you sit contently while also providing comfortable support for your arms. A small but important detail!
