Ingredients
- 1 knuckle
- ALLEMANSRÄTTEN smashed potatoes
- 2 spring onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 125 gr. of ketchup
- 20 gr. of white vinegar
- 30 gr. of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cumin and oregano
- 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
- 300 ml. of cola flavored ISKUB
- Olive oil
- Salt
Elaboration of the sauce
- With the hot oil, cook in a pot the onion, garlic and the salt until the onion is nearly transparent.
- Add the cumin, oregano, ketchup, mustard, vinegar and sugar.
- Pour the cola flavored ISKUB and let the sauce cook at low heat for 10 or 15 minutes.
- In a cold water glass add the cornstarch and stir it well. Pour the sauce until you obtain the right density.
Elaboration of the smahed potatoes
- Pour the content of the pack, without defrosting it, in a pot and cook it for 9 minutes.
- Add water or milk until obtaining the smashed potatoes consistency you like most.
Elaboration of the knuckle
- Cook the knuckle with it juice in the oven to 220º for 10 or 15 minutes.
Plaiting
- Put the knuckle on a plate and accompany it with the smashed potatoes.
- Finish the dish adding to the knuckle a little bit of sauce.
