The entity SARTON Canarias S.A. (hereafter IKEA), along with VENTAJON S.A, calls the present contest named “My favourite family moment”, that organizes and is developed in accordance with the following terms and conditions.
1. PURPOSE OF THE CONTEST:
In the framework of Family Week celebration, IKEA invites children under of 12 years old to participate in a very special drawing contest: “This is how I see my family”.
The purpose of this action is incentivizing children’s creativity, encouraging little ones to represent their families through drawings, thus celebrating family bonds and the value of diversity.
The small artists can let their imagination run wild, without technique or style limitations, showing how they see their family from a unique and special perspective.
2. GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE:
The present action will have the islands of Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote and Mallorca and geographical scope.

4. CONTEST ACTIVATION DATE:
The contest will be active from the 1st to the 16th of May 2026.

6. DYNAMICS OF THE ACTION:
During the contest validity period, people interested will be provided with a template that participants must use to make their drawings. This template will be available at the mailboxes placed at the IKEA Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Mallorca and Lanzarote stores, as well as on the web islas.IKEA.es/smaland in downloadable PDF format.
To participate in the contest, it will be necessary to deliver the templates with the creativity to submit to contest and with completed personal data in the mailboxes provided next to playrooms. Mailboxes will be active from the 1st to the 16th of May 2026.
7. MECHANISM OF THE CONTEST:
Once the entries made by the participants are submitted in each one of the IKEA stores within the geographical scope of the contest, a jury formed by members of the personnel of different IKEA’s areas will evaluate the received drawings. The selection will be made based on their suitability to the contest theme and their originality, always complying with the requirements established in the present terms and conditions.
In each store two drawings will be selected: a winner and a substitute winner, that will only be awarded in case the first winner renounces or cannot be located.
By no means can the same participant be selected as winner and, at the same time, as substitute winner.
Contest periods:
- Submitting proposals: from the 1st to the 16th of May 2026.
- Proposal collection and evaluation: from the 18th to the 21st of May 2026.
- Choosing the winners and contest resolutions: 22nd of May 2026.
- Communication to winners: 25th of May 2026.
The jury’s decisions will be final and without appeal, guaranteeing an impartial selection process based on the criteria established in these conditions.
8. PRIZE CHARACTERISTICS
Winners will receive as prize a pack of children's products valued in 100€, a certificate of recognition for their creativity and a 50€ gift voucher, exchangeable at physical stores, point of sale and IKEA Balearic and Canary Islands, as well as on the IKEA Inspire app, for the purchase of furniture and decoration items. Besides, if the mother, father or legal guardian of the participants is part of the IKEA Family club or owner of the Ventajon card, an increase of 30 euros will be made over the gift voucher value.
Additionally, an accrediting diploma will be delivered, and their work will be acknowledged by publishing said creativity in a space dedicated to it in the next “IKEA Family” magazine.
The prize is nominative and will not be transferred to third parties. It can neither be exchangeable for money in cash. In the case the winner, due to any circumstance, cannot accept or does not want to accept the prize, or renounces to it, IKEA will proceed to assign the following substitute winner in accordance with the established in the present conditions. The same will happen if the prize acceptance communication is not received in the terms indicated in these conditions. The prize can become null if the winner and/or the substitute winner does not accept or renounce to the prize, of if the prize acceptance letter is not received according the stated in the present conditions.
The purchase voucher is non-transferable and must be used by the winners in its totality at the IKEA Balearic and Canary Islands stores and/or the web www.islas.IKEA.es
The purchase voucher amount cannot be used to compensate outstanding balance for purchases financed with credit cards, to pay for delivery or assembly services nor it will be exchangeable for another one or its value in cash.
The organization is not liable in case of loss or subtractions of the purchase voucher and the clients exempts the Organizers of any responsibility because of the acceptance or use of the Purchase voucher or participating in the Promotion.
Using a purchase voucher never generate new purchase vouchers.
9. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:
In order to participate in this contest, the following requirements must be met: be 12 years old or less when submitting the creativity to the contest. Pick up and correctly fill up correctly the form and template with the design proposed that will be delivered to each participant. Have the express authorization of the mother, father or legal guardian to participate and, based on that: all terms and conditions present in these conditions must be accepted and met.
Both IKEA and the organization personnel, reserve the right to ask the mother/father/legal guardian to accredit their identity.
The mother, father or legal guardian credits accredits under their responsibility and guarantees that the minor is capable of participating in the contest, and also complies with participation requirements.
The mother, father or legal guardian accepts all the references made to the participants in the present conditions refer to the minor. Furthermore, the mother, father or legal guardian of the minor are the ones to submit the creativity, along with the provided form.
The originality of the composition will be valued to determine the winner. In no circumstance the fact of making more than one creativity during the promotional validity period will result in higher probability to be awarded. Children from IKEA employees are expressly excluded from participating as soon as their condition of worker is detected.
Every contestant can submit as many designs as they wish.
All creativities submitted to the contest must be the participant’s original work and, therefore, the consent to participate in the present contest, as well as delivering the design, means express recognition that IKEA will not be responsible for claims from third parties due to plagiarism, copying or any other intellectual or industrial property rights violation, holding the parties responsible for the submission of the drawing harmless from IKEA that may be caused due to this reason.
The authors and therefore, their mother, father or legal guardians, know that, by submitting the art to the contest, they surrender image rights of these creativities, being able to use them for commercial purposes, as well as its possible publication or dissemination in different media. Participating in the contest means the acceptance of these conditions.
IKEA’s workers children or direct relatives are excluded from participating in the contest, and those people that have directly or indirectly intervened in the elaboration of the present giveaway, as well as first-degree relatives of any of the previously mentioned.
10. TECHNIQUE AND PRODUCTION OF THE DRAWING:
All participants that comply with the requirements described in the previous point, can submit drawing as long as they comply with the following:
- The technique is free, being able to use, for example, crayons, pencils, felt-tip pens, watercolours, tempera, among others.
- On the drawing’s back the data of both the participants and their representative (mother, father, or legal guardian) must be properly filled in.
- The drawings that do not include these data will be eliminated.
11. CHOOSING THE WINNER:
The giveaway will be performed at the La Mareta, Gran Canaria offices, through the web https://www.randompicker.com
From the 29th of May the mother, father or legal guardian of the minor author of the winning proposal will be contacted via telephone, summoning them at the IKEA Store, Point or Shop of their island of residence, to pick up their prize. If the period ends without them attending the IKEA store or point, the substitute winner will be contacted. Being the prize null in case none of them attend.
The results of the giveaway will be published on several media: social media, web, as well as on the next IKEA Family magazine issues.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRESENT CONDITIONS:
Participating in this contest means the acceptance of each one of the terms and conditions stated in these conditions.

When registering and leaving your data, you authorize us expressly to send you said communications.
You can exercise at any moment your rights of access, rectifications, cancellation or opposition regarding your personal data, as well as revoking the given consent or oppose to the treatment of said data to send you commercial communications. 15. APPLIABLE LAW:
This promotion is ruled by the current Spanish legislation and by the present conditions. SARTON CANARIAS S.A.. and participants in these promotions are submitted, with an express waiver of any other jurisdiction, to the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Palma de Mallorca for any controversy that might occur between both.
16. MODIFICATIONS AND/OR ANNEXES:
SARTON CANARIAS S.A. reserves the right to modify or add successive annexes about its mechanism and prizes, as long as they are justified or do not damage the participants, and they are communicated rightly.
In case any case of extreme gravity should obtain SARTON CANARIAS SA. can cancel the promotion, announcing it as well to the consumers.
17. USE OF THE NAME AND IMAGE OF THE WINNERS:
Participants, in case of winning, give consent automatically when participating in the present Promotion to use, publish and reproduce worldwide and without limits, by SARTON CANARIAS, their image and name in any type of advertisement, promotion, including Internet, or any mean of any nature, with commercial and informative purposes as long as they are related only to the present promotion, without having SARTON CANARIAS S.A.. give any economic compensation to the winner because of this.
18. RIGHT TO ELIMINATE FRAUDULENT PARTICIPATIONS:
SARTON CANARIAS reserves the right to eliminate with justification any user that commits fraud, alters or disables the right functioning and normal and regulatory course of the present Promotion.
19. GENERAL:
Any attempt of betting, or similar methods are forbidden. No automatic, programmed or robotic registration is allowed. SARTON CANARIAS S.A. will not be held responsible for any error or omission in the contest advertisement.
20. ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRESENT TERMS:
The very participation in the promotion, means the acceptance of the present terms and conditions. In case of existing doubts or discrepancies in the interpretation of said terms, they will be remitted to common law.
