IKEA announces an extension of the recall of certain LETTAN mirrors for repair due to damaged wall fixings.

IKEA requests all customers who have an affected LETTAN mirror to stop using it and to demand wall fixings to replace them for free. 

IKEA develops their products using a rigurous evaluation and risk test program, to make sure that the products meet all the appliable laws and rules of the markets they are sold. Nevertheless, we have noticed that some of the fittings that support the LETTAN mirrors to the wall have been breaking. This has resulted in the unexpected fall of some mirrors.

On January 2023, IKEA recalled some LETTAN mirrors for itheir repair due to the braking of the wall fittings. After deeper investigations, as well as additional audits to our suppliers, we have discovered that the defective wall fittings were used in the production for a larger period than IKEA knew previously. Since the security of our clients is our maximum priority, IKEA has decided to extend the recall as a precaution measure.

The LETTAN mirrors affected by the recall for repair now include:
 

• All LETTAN mirrors with date stamp previous to 2105 and inclusive (Year/Week). The mirrors LETTAN with supplier number 21944, with date stamp previous to the 2325 and inclusive (year/week).

• The date stamp and the supplier number are at a tag on the back side of the LETTAN mirror. This is an example of the tag, with the location of the supplier number (21944) and the date stamp (2152 = Year/Week) highlighted in red.

You can visit your IKEA Shop or IKEA Point to demand the required quantity of replacement wall fixings with item number 139298/1.

IKEA is recalling the BLÅVINGAD multi-coloured fishing game due to a possible suffocation risk.

IKEA requests that all customers who have a multi-coloured fishing game BLÅVINGAD to stop using it and return the product to any IKEA shop for a full refund. 

Safety is our number one priority and therefore we are taking preventive measures and recalling the BLÅVINGAD multi-coloured fishing game due to a possible suffocation risk (BLÅVINGAD multi-coloured fishing game 105.265.06).

The BLÅVINGAD multi-coloured fishing game can be returned to any IKEA Shop or IKEA Point for a full refund. No purchase invoice (receipt) is required.

IKEA pide a todos los clientes que tengan una cafetera exprés METALLISK para vitrocerámica de 0,4l. con válvula de seguridad de acero inoxidable, que dejen de usarla y se pongan en contacto con IKEA para obtener un reembolso completo. No se requiere comprobante de compra.

La seguridad es una prioridad principal para IKEA y, por lo tanto, estamos retirando del mercado la cafetera exprés METALLISK con válvula de seguridad de acero inoxidable, con sellos de fecha entre 2040 y 2204 (año y semana) debido a un riesgo mayor de que el producto explote durante su uso. El riesgo ha aumentado después de un cambio de material y construcción de la válvula de seguridad, por lo tanto, solo están incluidos en este llamamiento, los productos con la válvula de seguridad de acero inoxidable (de color plateado/gris). Ninguna otra unidad está afectada.
