This product is made by SAITEX in Vietnam. A social business which integrates persons with disabilities in its industrial production based on cotton and recycled denim.
The cotton/polyester cover is easy to keep clean since it can be removed and machine washed.
Goes nicely with other textiles in the FRÖDD collection.

"The idea for the FRÖDDA collection was sparked during a camping trip when I decided to try to convey the innermost essence of nature with unique handmade objects inspired by leaves and trees. An ambition that led to a collaboration with skilled artisans at social businesses who complimented my design with exquisite, handmade details. I hope that you, just as I do, appreciate the connection with nature that the collection evokes.”
Craftsmanship inspired by nature
The FRÖDD collection is created in collaboration with skilled artisans at social businesses who have complemented the nature-inspired design with exquisite, hand-made details that bear nature's innermost essence. The collection is a mix of textiles and ceramics that brings a piece of nature into your home with hand-embroidered patterns reminiscent of a tree’s growth rings and printed patterns where the brushstroke effect feels both modern and calming.
So much more than a comfortable floor cushion
The FRÖDD collection’s floor cushion is not just a floor cushion. It’s also a way for the deaf and mute artisans who created it to make their voice heard. Their smiles show the pride and love they have for their work – and the will to make a difference, earn money and live a dignified life, despite limited abilities. One of several examples of how, through collaborations with social businesses, we create livelihood opportunities for individuals with various disabilities.
