BBVA Frequently Asked Questions
The bank loan is a contract by which a financial entity provides the client a determined quantity of money to finance the purchase of goods or durable customer services. The clients acquire the obligation to return in a determined period the money and pay, in that case, some interests. On occasion, the opening commission is also paid, that can be financed.
In the loan that here offers BBVA, the capital is paid out directly to the vendor of the good or service whose purchase you want to finance.
Before signing the contract, check the Standard European Consumer Credit Information (SECCI) that we will put at your disposal to know the type of interest (price that the Bank charges for putting at your disposal certain quantity of money, the A.P.R (total cost of the credit expressed in a yearly percentage of the total amount of the credit) and in general all the economical conditions of your loan.
It is a loan for individuals, over 18 years old that reside in Spain. Your request must be approved by BBVA, therefore some data will be requested to evaluate your application.
The loan is granted by Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. with CIF A-48265169 and registered office in Plaza San Nicolás 4, 48005 Bilbao. BBVA is registered in the Vizcaya's Commercial Registry, Volume 2.083, Sheet 1, Page BI-17-A, first inscription. BBVA is subjected to supervision.
Its granting is subjected to its previous authorization.
It is not necessary since it is allowed to domicile the payment of the instalment in an account or card of another bank entity. You just must be owner of said account or card.
The contract, along with the rest of the documentation, it is signed electronically. We will send a code to your telephone where we will ask you to introduce in the screen during the signature process as proof of your approval.
You have the right to withdraw from the contract during the 14 calendar days following the contract holding, with no additional cost. We will return to you the opening commission, if there is one, and you only must pay the interests generated those days.
Once these 14 days have passed you can, if you wish, cancel the loan beforehand. In both cases, you just have to call to the BBVA customer service's number: 900816994.
In the BBVA app you can check the information of your loan, receive the monthly statement in the message box and, if you need it, modify you contact data.

The first instalment will be charged after the contract signing. The other instalments are monthly and each one of them will be charged at the expiring date that it is indicated in the amortization table that we provide along with the loan contract.
Consider that the charge of the first instalment in your credit or debit card is immediate and in your bank account can take up to 24h.
If it is a credit card, the instalment will be charged against the credit limit, as your card statements, and you must return them according to the settlement system you have on your card.
If it is a debit card, the instalments will be charged on the bank account associated to the card.
Yes. You can change it through the BBVA app accessing at your loan detail and choosing the option “re-domicile loan”.
BBVA will inform you in case that any instalment results unpaid. For each claimed unpaid instalment, BBVA will charge a fixed amount of 30,00€, for only one time, in concept of claim payment of debtor position.
Furthermore, BBVA can charges interests due to delay.
If you decide to cancel one part or the totality of your loan before the completion date established in the contract, you will have to pay a cancelling commission of the 0,50% if there are less than 12 months to finish paying it, and of 1.00% if there are more than 12 months. Without limiting the foregoing, BBVA can perceive a minimum of 11,50€ in concept of administrative cancellation cost.
To the contract and the derived relations of said contract will be applied the Spanish law. The relevant courts for any issue related with the loan contract will be those corresponding to the client's residence.
The information and contractual terms will be provided in the language in which this document is redacted. During the duration of the loan contract we will communicate in the language with which you have signed the contract.

The Customer Service can solve the complaints that are presented by their clients through the email they have provided for the rest of their communications, and in paper, if there is not an enabled email.
